Basketball player Paul George has teamed up with PlayStation once again for a new sneaker that’s inspired by the PlayStation 5.

This will be Paul George’s third sneaker release with his favorite console brand, following the PG 2 and PG 2.5 PlayStation colorways.

Taking on Nike’s signature PG 5 sneaker, designers from both companies, including PS5 console design artist Yujin Morisawa, worked together to bring an authentic look to the PG 5 PlayStation 5 colorway.

“Just like the PlayStation 5 console, the PG 5 is my platform to take my game to the next level,” said Paul George. “I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to bring these two elements together in this new partnership with PlayStation.”

The basketball shoe has a sleek white exterior that, upon closer inspection, contains a subtle pattern of PlayStation’s iconic shapes, similar to the PS5 DualSense controller.

On top of that, it also has black and blue accents on the interior and the sole to stay true to the PS5’s official colorway.

Just like his previous shoes, the tongues showcase the PG and PlayStation logos on them. You can also spot the PS5 logo and Paul George’s jersey number 13 on the sides of the sole.

The PG 5 PlayStation 5 colorway will be available on May 14 in select regions.
