Unlocking the Scatter Mine
Unlocking the Scatter Mine is straightforward; players simply need to achieve rank 18.
Once players have reached that milestone, they will be able to equip the Scatter Mine in the tactical equipment slot.
Deploying Scatter Mines
Scatter Mines are designed to function as an early warning or enemy detection system. Once deployed, these mines will detonate when enemies approach too closely.
Although they don’t deal sufficient damage to kill an enemy outright, they provide the owner with a hit marker, thereby alerting them to the presence of enemies near the location of the mines.
The optimal use for Scatter Mines is when you plan to lockdown an area of the map. Place these mines out of sight on your flanks to alert you of enemies attempting to occupy your position.
This allows you to either escape or adjust your field of fire toward the direction from which the mines were triggered.
This strategy is especially effective in narrow alleyways or entry points into buildings, where enemies are naturally funneled into these areas. This increases the likelihood that they will come within the proximity radius of the mines.
