With Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 upon us, there are some new maps entering the gauntlet.
With around 20 modes and a total of 30 maps across both 6v6 and Ground War, there’s a ton of variety for players to experience.

Modern Warfare 2 has a plethora of maps and modes to choose from
Modern Warfare 2 game modes
There are tons of game modes to participate in when it comes to Modern Warfare 2, ranging from fast-paced to slow and methodical, and everything in between.
Below is a table of all the modes, including those that will launch at some point during the ongoing season.

In addition to those modes, there is also Ground War. Ground War is a large-scale 32 vs 32 battle between teams. With Season 3, there will be the addition of GW Infected, bringing the beloved mode to the big battle.
That will give Ground War three modes, including the base, Invasion, and Infected.
Modern Warfare 2 6v6 maps
When it comes to maps, there’s a little of something for everyone. From three-lane maps all the way to incredibly large and intricate maps, whatever playstyle you have, one of the 21 maps will suit your needs.

Modern Warfare 2 Ground War maps
The 32 vs 32 Ground War mode has plenty of variety as well, and is getting an additional couple of maps in the latest update. Here are the nine Ground War maps, including the newly added Rohan Oil and Sattiq Cave Complex:
