Kaguya-sama: Love is War – Ultra Romantic – is coming to an end with a double feature.

An hour-long episode will cap off the current Culture Festival arc, ensuring Kaguya season 3 races towards the finish line to end on a high note.

Such is the dedication of the Kaguya showrunners, that an official trailer was released for the finale. There could be some minor spoilers here, but judging from the manga’s story, and A1 Pictures’ dedication to enhancing every aspect of the anime, it’s going to be a wild ride with a spectacular payoff.

Spoilers ahead for Kaguya season 3

President and vice-president of the Shuchiin Academy student council, Miyuki Shirogane and Kaguya Shinomiya, have been locked in a battle of wits for nearly two years. With the highly mistaken, yet independently drawn conclusion that whoever confesses first loses, Miyuki and Kaguya are, however, running out of time.

They’ve lost multiple opportunities to tell the other person about their crush, whether it’s in a rushing cab viewing fireworks, the disbanding of the student council, or even when locked in the same room.

Miyuki, wanting to study overseas, received an acceptance letter from Stanford, which means his time at Shuchiin is coming to an end. The romantic battle between two geniuses, who refuse to confess first, is a game with seemingly no conclusion in sight—unless one of them decides to do something about it.

You can watch the conclusion of Kaguya-sama this Friday, June 24 on Crunchyroll or iQIYI.
