Electronics company LG and esports organization Tempo Storm have partnered up to host an online Valorant tournament, which will take place on October 4 at 4:00 a.m. GMT+8 or October 3 at 1:00 p.m. PST.

The event, aptly called the LG UltraGear Face Off, features 20 of the most popular streamers and pro players from North America, who will be duking it out for a US$10,000 grand prize.

The participants have already been split into four teams with their respective team captains: Félix “xQc”Lengyel for Team Heroes, Timothy “TimTheTatman” Betar for Team Delta, Maria “Chica” Lopez for Team Survival, and Dimitri “greekgodx” Antonatos for Team Striker.

These four popular streamers will also have the following pro Valorant talents on their rosters: Sentinels star player Jay “sinatraa” Won joining Team Survival, while his teammate Shahzeeb “ShahZaM” Khan will be allying with greekgodx on Team Striker.

Additionally, sinatraa and ShahZaM will have to look out for their TSM rival, Matthew “Wardell” Yu, who will be playing alongside former CS:GO pros Mohamad “m0E” Assad and Erik “fl0m” Flom on Team Delta.

Valorant fans who follow the scene know that ShahZam and Wardell have been trading insults on social media regarding who the best Operator player in Valorant is. And this escalated after Valorant decided to nerf the Operator, which caused both parties to continue roasting each other on Twitter.

The event will center on a brand-new gaming monitor that LG is calling the world’s first 4K IPS 1MS display. All tournament participants have already shared an unboxing video of the product on their social media accounts.

To watch the event live, tune into the UltraGearGaming Twitch channel on October 4 at 4:00 a.m. GMT+8.
