North American esports organization Evil Geniuses’ Valorant roster is ready to compete with the addition of Daniel “roca” Gustaferri, Brandon “Branted” Ballard, and Mike “Pho” Panza to the team.
The trio joins EG’s team captain Christine “potter” Chi and Nolan “Temperature” Pepper before the start of VCT North America Stage 3 competition.
With the overhaul of its Valorant roster, the North American team has decided to part ways with Aleksandar “aleksandar” Hinojosa, Claudia “Clawdia” Che, and Ronan “Osias” Javelona.
The departure of Clawdia also makes potter the only woman left on Evil Geniuses’ mixed-gender roster.

“Based on our team’s performance over the first two Stages of VCT, we felt changes were necessary to progress towards the level of success expected at EG,” said General Manager Andrew Barton in Evil Geniuses’ official announcement.
“Moving forward, after significant scouting, trialing, and testing, we believe we have assembled a team that can adapt with the evolving Valorant meta.”
Evil Geniuses’ Valorant roster have their sights set on the upcoming VCT North America Stage 3 Open Qualifiers scheduled from July 1 to 4.
All teams from the region are looking to qualify for VCT Stage 3 Masters Berlin in the hopes of earning more VCT circuit points that will, in turn, help them qualify for Riot Games’ Valorant World Championship tournament at the end of the year.

Pho, roca, and Branted’s EG debut
The team’s new roster debuted during the Nerd Street Gamers 2021 June Open Qualifier, which included up-and-coming teams from the North American region.
Evil Geniuses’ Valorant roster is currently competing in the NSG 2021 Summer Championship. The tournament will run until June 30.
