The rifle has the potential to change the economy meta for sniper mains in Valorant.

The Outlaw is a sniper rifle and it sits in a tier between the Marshal and the Operator, suggesting potential versatility in long-range combat.
It first appeared on a test server in China on a Bilibili stream.
Since its launch, Valorant’s sniper rifles mirrored Counter-Strike, particularly the Scout and AWP.
The introduction of The Outlaw gives sniper mains a mid tier price option since it only costs 2,400 credits, comparable to a Guardian. This means that players could potentially pick it up during half buy rounds.

The Marshal is often purchased on eco rounds since it only cost 950. Meanwhile, the Operator is the most expensive weapon in Valorant at 4,700.
The Marshal takes two shots to take down an enemy, while the Operator can heavily impact the round because it can down an enemy in one shot, unless it’s a leg shot.
As for the Outlaw’s damage potential, specific details remain undisclosed, as it is still in the testing phase.
