During the 2024 iteration of Pokemon Presents, the company behind the worldwide phenomenon revealed a new game, Pokemon Legends ZA.

Pokemon Legends ZA will see the return of the Legends format, and one particular frame has fans excited, so let’s dive into it.

Fans of the Pokemon series should be familiar with the logo that appeared in the image above, and most will be excited for it. The logo reveals the return of mega evolutions, a feature that’s been missing since Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. If this is the hint we think it is, players can expect them while playing the new Pokemon Legends ZA title next year.

The Pokemon Legends series is played as an action roleplaying game set in the world of Pokemon. One of the unique features of these games is that the players themselves can be attacked by wild Pokemon, not just set battles between the pocket monsters themselves.

How to add friends in Pokemon Unite

The last in this series, Pokemon Legends Arceus was revealed during the 2021 edition of Pokemon Presents and released in January 2022. With the same logic applied to the latest addition, we may be able to get our hands on Pokemon Legends ZA within a year.

Fans can expect to descend into the Kalos region and visit the city of Lumiose in the new title. “A new adventure awaits within Lumiose City, where an urban redevelopment plan is under way to shape the city into a place that belongs to both people and Pokémon,” the description on the announcement trailer states.

Beyond that we know very little about the game as of now, but from what we’ve seen, there’s plenty to be excited about if you love Pokemon. The downside is that this most likely means there will be no major Pokemon releases in 2024, as nothing was announced for that time frame besides Pokemon Pocket.
