To butcher Pals in Palworld, you’ll require a Meat Cleaver. Acquiring this tool from the Technology Tree requires reaching at least level 12 in the game. Crafting a cleaver also requires five Ingots, 20 Wood, and five Stone. After obtaining it, equip the cleaver and follow these steps to butcher a Pal:

Note: Engaging in Pal butchering is strictly illegal in Palworld. If any NPC catches you performing these unlawful actions, you may find a price placed on your head.

Once you complete butchering the Pal, you will get its loot. Though the butchering process may be unsettling, it remains the final resort for your Pals, unless there’s a specific event requirement or an urgent need for resources. Some players who want to play as criminals with wanted levels may find it helpful to butcher Pals.

That concludes our guide to butchering Pals in Palworld. Do with it what you will.
