Sanctuary’s dark and treacherous realms are again on the verge of all-out war in Diablo 4.

As a fan of the action role-playing game genre, you’ll need to know all the Acts in the game to progress the game’s story and reach the endgame stage.

These Acts represent the different chapters of the game. Completing each level brings you closer to confronting Lilith, the game’s main antagonist.

The structure of Diablo 4’s main storyline comprises a series of acts that progress the player’s journey through the game. According to the challenge tab in the Diablo 4 open beta, the game features four Acts. Each Act is a significant chapter in the overarching narrative, offering unique challenges, quests, and encounters.

Before delving into the Acts, players will embark on a prologue that introduces the world of Diablo 4. This initial chapter sets the stage for the coming events, acquainting players with the game’s mechanics and characters.

Unlike its predecessors, Diablo 4 presents players with the freedom to complete the acts in any order they choose. This non-linear campaign experience allows players to tailor their journey to their preferences, exploring different zones and tackling challenges in a way that suits their playstyle.

As players progress through the acts, they will venture into various zones within the world of Sanctuary. The game’s world map encompasses five main zones: Fracture Peaks, Dry Steppes, Hawezar, Kehjitstan, and Scosglen.

Within each Act, players will encounter additional objectives that offer rewarding content. These objectives involve completing specific tasks, embarking on side quests, or unraveling hidden lore that sheds light on Diablo’s lore.

After finishing the main storyline, players will go through the epilogue, which will get them one step close to the endgame stage. Instead of completing quests that lead to story progression, players will focus on improving their character’s abilities. This includes acquiring powerful items and reaching the max level in the game.
