The Finals offers an extensive arsenal for each class to craft a unique loadout. With so many options available, it can be tricky to filter out the best guns in The Finals Season 2.

The Finals is a Call of Duty’s Plunder-style game that puts 9 players in an arena to fight for the cash boxes. It’s a risky job, but players are helped with a choice of builds, weapons, and gadgets to achieve this goal. However, it’s the weapons that make all the difference in The Finals’ cut-throat arena.

Season 2 of The Finals is a bit of a meta-shaker, bringing new weapons and gadgets. Surprisingly, all three are some of the best guns we have seen in The Finals, but some older weapons remain irreplaceable.

Here are the top 10 guns in The Finals that could help you bag a cashout in Season 2.

10. Lewis Gun — best guns in The Finals Season 2

Build: Heavy
Cost: 800
Magazine: 47

Lewis Gun is a light machine gun for the heavy class that is loaded with 47 bullets, enough to annihilate an entire squad. In chaotic battles, Lewis Gun can be a lifesaver as you can spray down multiple enemies without having to reload every second. But, if you do run out of bullets, Lewis Gun takes a while to reload, 3.5 seconds to be precise.

Despite its flaws, the weapon has a high level of accuracy in long-range situations and is well-balanced in terms of damage dealt.

9. CL-40 — best guns in The Finals Season 2

Build: Medium
Cost: 800
Magazine: 4

CL-40 is destructive and deadly but hard to master. For this reason, it makes rare appearances in The Finals games, but it’s worth the extra training hours. The pump-action grenade gun can launch 4 grenades in a single magazine, deadling 75 body damage to the target and low damage to enemies nearby.

This weapon is an absolute game-changer that helps keep opponents away from the cashout and tenderizes them for the final kill. Paired with a jump pad, CL-40 becomes an absolute menace, especially in the new 5v5 game mode.

8. KS-23 — best guns in The Finals Season 2

Build: Heavy
Cost: 1200
Magazine: 4 shells

Currently, the KS-23 is one of the most powerful weapons in The Finals. However, it has its own set of flaws that prevent it from becoming unfairly overpowered. The slug-round shotgun kills a light build in 2 and a heavy build in 3-4 shots. That means ace aimers need half the mag to kill a light opponent. KS-23’s high damage rate of 120 is balanced by its slow fire rate and even slower reload time of 5 seconds.

KS-23 is extremely powerful for the current meta but has a catch. The high learning curve will keep most players away from touching this gun.

7. FAMAS burst AR — best guns in The Finals Season 2

Build: Medium
Cost: 1200 VRs
Magazine: 27 bullets

FAMAS is a burst-fire assault released in Season 2, and it has already impressed the players with its high mid-range damage rate. With minimal recoil, the gun is easily manageable for players who have used FCAR. Medium-build players would like it for the holo on alt-fire, which makes it a decent weapon to pick off long-range enemies. One downside is its low fire rate and slow reload speed.

6. 93R — best guns in The Finals Season 2

Build: Light
Cost: 1200
Magazine: 21 bullets

93R is a burst pistol for light-build players who love engaging in close or medium-range duels. While it’s still new to the game, this gun will likely become a staple in many loadouts for its sizeable magazine and incredible DPS. The pistol sprays 3 bullets per burst and takes 3 bursts to finish off a medium build enemy.

5. XP-54 — best guns in The Finals Season 2

Build: Light
Cost: 800
Magazine: 30

XP-54 is perfect for spray-and-pray players who don’t like wasting a second to get that precise headshot. However, this SMG is still viable in close and mid-range duels. If you move fast and smoothly, XP-54 can be a staple of your loadout—that is if you’re willing to compromise on its low damage. The SMG’s excellent recoil control and damage up close make up for the shortcomings.

4. SA1216 — best guns in The Finals Season 2

Build: Heavy
Cost: 800 VRs
Magazine: 16 rounds/4 shots per chamber

Like AKM, SA1216 is a low-skill, high-reward gun, making it perfect for those new to The Finals. This weapon is ideal for heavy builds as it shines in close-range battles. If you’re within ten meters, you only need five shots to eliminate the enemy’s heavy build.

The weapon shoots 14 pellets in a fixed pattern, meaning you can’t aim for head or aim downsight. One drawback is the slow reload time after shooting four pellets.

3. V9S — best guns in The Finals Season 2

Build: Light
Cost: 800 VRs
Magazine: 20

For close-range duels, V9S is hands down the best gun in The Finals. It reloads in a blink, has excellent DPS, minimal recoil, and is easily manageable. The gun was already fairly powerful, but after The Finals patch 1.5, its damage increased from 35 to 36, making it a menace in the hands of skilled players.

Range is an issue with the V9S, but it’s negligible since light builds can easily cover long distances in a few strides.

2. AKM — best guns in The Finals Season 2

Build: Medium
Cost: N/A
Magazine: 36 rounds

AKM is a weapon that’s hard to hate. From The Finals pros to green players, everyone can handle its recoil and bullet accuracy. However, the AKM is viable primarily for players new to the FPS genre who are still figuring out the crosshair placement. In a chaotic battle, AKM’s high fire rate and sizable magazine are lifesavers. With a decent long-range and an excellent mid-range damage rate, AKM remains the go-to weapon for medium-build players.

1. FCAR — best guns in The Finals Season 2

Build: Medium
Cost: 800 VRS
Magazine: 20

Similar to AKM, FCAR is a gun widely loved by almost everyone who plays The Finals, and for all the right reasons. While it’s mainly held in high regard for its high damage rate, FCAR is often preferred over its counterparts for the holo sight, which makes it easy to pick long-range duels. With a 260 DPS, FCAR takes only 1.30 seconds to kill a heavy-build enemy. This heavy tactical assault rifle may take some getting used to, but a few practice sessions should make you unstoppable.

It does have a slight downside. FCAR’s magazine isn’t for players who’d rather spray down several enemies at once.

That covers the best guns in The Finals Season 2 update.
