The OGA Dota Pit Online: China tournament has concluded with Vici Gaming winning their first online Dota 2 event by defeating PSG.LGD.
The tournament was filled with amazing plays from the best Dota 2 players in China. Here’s a look at the five best highlights from the tournament:
5. Setsu jukes PSG.LGD with no health left
In a Group Stage match between Royal Never Give Up and PSG.LGD, Gao “Setsu” Zhenxiong was being chased down by Lu “Somnus`M” Yao’s Ember Spirit who was still at full health.
With the perfect usage of Void Spirit’s Aether Remnant and Dissimilate abilities, Setsu was able to juke Somnus`M for long enough until RNG’s heroes joined the fight.
4. RNG destroys IG in the Rosh Pit
In the second game between Royal Never Give Up and Invictus Gaming in the Lower Bracket, RNG won a convincing team fight inside the Rosh Pit, while IG tried to claim the Aegis of the Immortal for Zhou “Emo” Yi’s Terrorblade.
RNG managed to burst down IG’s Terrorblade, while Xue “September” Zhichuan had the perfect positioning for his Supernova ultimate.
3. September saves Flywin with a clutch Supernova
In the first round Upper Bracket match between RNG and EHOME, September gave his team the upper hand with his Sun Ray. He then saved Su “Flywin” Lei’s Centaur Warrunner with a clutch Supernova ultimate that returned the RNG offlaner to full health.
2. Chalice’s Troll Warlord survives on 70 HP
In the Lower Bracket Final between PSG.LGD and EHOME, Yang “Chalice” Shenyi outlasted the enemy Monkey King and Ember Spirit on 70 HP. Chalice’s Troll Warlord lucked out with the perfect number of dodges and bashes against EHOME.
1. JT- lands a perfect four-man Vacuum Wall combo
During a Group Stage match between IG and CDEC, things were looking bad for IG after Emo preemptively blinked into the CDEC and died twice, losing the Aegis of the Immortal in the process, giving CDEC the opportunity to siege IG’s base.
However, IG’s Thiay “JT-” Jun Wen saved his team from certain defeat as he managed to catch four CDEC heroes with his Vacuum Wall combo, letting Hu “Kaka” Liangzhi follow up with an Impale that completely wiped CDEC, stopping them in their tracks.
