Agility hero Morphling is no longer overpowered in Dota 2’s 7.22e patch.

Morphling’s base armor has been reduced by 1, which now totals to 0.8 at the start of the game. His fifth skill, Morph, no longer gives a 35% scepter cooldown reduction.

Instead, Morph’s level 20 talent tree has been incorporated to the skill and can now be used to copy the form of your enemies and allies. As for the talent tree, the level 20 option has been changed to either +15% Cooldown Reduction or Waveform Attacks Targets.

The nerf must have been made due to Thai player Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon’s performance during the SEA Qualifiers.

Two other items have received changes as well, namely Maelstrom with its Chain Lightning damage reduced to 150 and the Stout Shield which no longer stacks.

The patch also adds a bunch of tweaks to the various Dota heroes, with some needed buffs to Phantom Lancer, Luna, and Visage, while other heroes got minor buffs or nerfs.
