Team Nigma captain, Kuro Salehi “Kuroky” Takhasomi, skillfully utilized an unusual support Clinkz in the Europe final of the WeSave! Charity Play tournament, leading his team to a dominant 3-1 victory over his old organization, Team Liquid.

In the final game, Kuroky picked the support Clinkz for himself for the fourth-straight time to lead a hyper-aggressive lineup that also featured Phantom Assassin for Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi, a mid Batrider for Aliwi “w33” Omar, an offlane Wraith King for Ivan “MinD_ControL” Ivanov, and Tusk for Maroun “GH” Merhej.

Meanwhile, Liquid opted for a tri-core composition with a strong midgame power spike headlined by a Riki for Michael “miCKe” Vu, Lone Druid for Maximilian “qojqva” Bröcker on the offlane, Mars for Samuel “Boxi” Svahn at mid, Rubick for Tommy “Taiga” Le, and Grimstroke for Aydin “iNSaNiA” Sarkohi.

Kuroky’s support Clinkz was instrumental in Nigma coming out ahead after the laning phase, as he notched five kills before the 10-minute mark to help apply a ton of pressure on Liquid’s cores across the map.

Nigma took full advantage of the fact that Liquid’s lineup was still gearing up for their midgame timing by going all out on their aggression. With Kuroky’s Clinkz constantly scouting for pickoffs and opportunities to get the jump on their opponents, Nigma bulldozed through Liquid in all of the ensuing teamfights.

Even before the game hit the 20-minute mark, Nigma had already amassed a whopping 30 kills and a 9,000 gold advantage.

Despite Liquid’s best efforts to defend, they could do little against Nigma’s relentless aggression and were eventually forced to call GG after just 21 minutes.

Kuroky notched a game-high 15 kills and added 10 assists against just 4 deaths. That would have been a great line for the usual carry Clinkz, but the fact that Kuroky did it as a support is truly remarkable.

With their victory, Nigma top the European leg of WeSave! Charity Play and will now face HellRaisers in a special EU vs CIS Grand Final.
