Fnatic has made some major changes to their Dota 2 roster.

They have decided to remove Noa “MP” Pyo from the active roster, while having Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong becoming the carry player. Team coach Kim “DuBu” Doo-young will take over Jabz’s position 5 role instead.

Despite dropping MP from the roster, Fnatic will continue to receive a salary, as well as a portion of the prize money, won in Shanghai, thanks to his efforts in helping the team securing a direct TI9 invite.

“Together with MP, Fnatic Dota has had one of our most amazing seasons and we owe him endlessly for all the hard work he has put in,” said Fnatic Team Manager Eric Khor in a blog post.

“However, with lackluster results towards the end, issues with our playstyle have surfaced and after a lengthy discussion with everyone, we feel that we needed a fresh change in our cores’ synergy.”

Here’s Fnatic’s revamped Dota 2 roster:

  • Position 1: Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong
  • Position 2: Abed “Abed” Yusop
  • Position 3: Daryl Koh “iceiceice” Pei Xiang
  • Position 4: Djardel “DJ” Mampusti
  • Position 5: Kim “DuBu” Doo-young

By having moved DuBu to the active roster, Fnatic is now currently looking for a new head coach.

Fnatic last tournament run was disappointing to say the least, coming in third in the group stages, and being eliminated by Forward Gaming during the Playoffs stage at the Epicenter Major in a best-of-one.
