With the release of Counter-Strike 2 looming, players are looking for the best ways to warm up and improve their gameplay.
One of the ways is through Refrag’s current CS2 aim map. Refrag.gg is a company built around helping players become more mechanically sound via different tools including maps and routines.

Warm up and improve with the new CS2 aim map
Currently, in the Limited Test, fans will have to download the map via the Refrag discord and move the .vpk file into the CSGO map folder.
Once you join the Discord via the above link, navigate to the #cs2warmup-map channel. There you’ll find instructions as well as the file you’ll need to download to gain access to the map.
Below you can find the instructions on how to install the map as provided:
- Download the latest cs2warmup_refrag.vpk map file below.
- Navigate to your CS2 installation folder. Usually as follows:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\game\csgo\maps - Copy the cs2warmup_refrag.vpk into the maps folder. (If you don’t see other .vpk files, you’re in the wrong folder!)
- Close your game if opened.
- Add
+sv_cheats 1to your launch options, or/also in your autoexec.cfg. - Open your game and launch the map via console using
map cs2warmup_refrag.
If you’re running into any issues, these are the suggestions they have to troubleshoot problems:
- If you do not see the map in console dropdown, you copied it to the wrong folder.
- If you cannot choose guns or infinite ammo doesn’t work, restart your game and make sure
sv_cheatsis1before launching the map.
Within the map you can make the bots stationary, shuffle left and right, or rush at you in addition to controlling various other settings.
Once the game officially launches, you can expect many more maps to become available in addition to the Steam workshop being the best place to easily get maps.
