The method of obtaining the Killshot skin is hidden behind a few challenges, and if you miss finishing them before the event ends, you will miss out on the chance of getting an exclusive skin for free.

How to get Killshot Skin in MW3 and Warzone

In MW3 and Warzone, you can get the Killshot skin by completing the featured zombies challenges and claiming their respective rewards during the Horde Hunt event, which is currently underway and will last until Tuesday, March 5.

Once you complete the said challenges, you can head to the “Events” tab, select the “Horde Hunt” event and claim the Killshot skin for free. That being said, the Killshot is a skin for Kortac’s Swagger operator, and thus, you must have him unlocked to use the Killshot skin.

We will talk about how you can unlock Swagger in MW3, but before that, these are the weekly featured challenges that you must complete for the Killshot skin:

  • Week 1: “Tiny Screams” charm – 600 Armored Zombie Skulls
  • Week 2: “Dogs of Hell” calling card – 300 Hellhound Skulls
  • Week 3: “Cursed Ammo” – TBD (Mimics)

When writing this guide, only the week one challenge, getting 600 Armored Zombie Skulls, is live since the Horde Hunt event went live on February 7. So, sadly, you cannot speed run through the event to unlock the Killshot skin.

Moreover, while we do know that the Week 3 involves defeating Mimics, we don’t know the exact number of the said zombie type you will get tasked to defeat yet, as they will be disclosed in the final week.

To unlock the Swagger Operator in MW3 and Warzone, you must get 10 Operator Kills in a single multiplayer match using an LMG.
