Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 maps are going to be plentiful by the end, according to a statement from Activision.

The company made its big Modern Warfare 3 reveal as part of the Warzone 2 event back in August, and one of the big topics was the sheer number of maps multiplayer would have to offer in addition to some returning favorites.

According to Activision, the number of Modern Warfare 3 maps will end up over 30. This will include more than a dozen six-vs-six maps that will be released post-launch.

They will be joining a slew of new maps as part of the game’s official launch on November 10, but that’s not what has fans the most excited.

In addition to the new maps at launch and after, a total of 16 classic Modern Warfare 2 maps have been confirmed as overhauled to join the list of Modern Warfare 3 maps. This includes maps like Rust, Estate, Terminal, Highrise, and more.

All MW3 maps for core multiplayer:

  • Favela
  • Karachi
  • Highrise
  • Invasion

The game also launched with three new Battle Maps for Ground War and Invasion in addition to a War Mode map.

  • Training Facility (Season 1)

All MW3 maps for Ground War:

Fans can expect the post-launch maps to come as part of new seasons, following the same model of MW2. That being said, it should be with a cadence of around two months.
