The Obsidian camo isn’t handed out lightly. You’ll need to unlock the One Trick Prestige Camo introduced in Season 3. This camo requires earning a hefty 200,000 Weapon XP with any weapon.
On a positive note, this is a great way to test out various guns and find your perfect match for the Obsidian grind. You can start the journey on 29 May 2024.
Once you have the One Trick Prestige Camo, you’ll need a whopping 200,000 Weapon XP specifically with the weapon you desire Obsidian for.
This means mastering that gun and racking up kills, assists, and objective completions.
Tips to help with the Obsidian Grind
- We recommend using Double weapon XP tokens as these are your best friends. Utilize them whenever possible to accelerate your progress. Consider saving them for specific challenges or weapons that feel slower to level.
- It’s best to dominate a familiar game mode. Play to your strengths and the weapon’s. If you’re good at close-quarters with an SMG, focus on fast-paced modes like Domination or Kill Confirmed. For long-range rifles, try Warzone or Ground War for ample opportunities to rack up kills.
- Focus on getting consistency. Don’t chase highlight plays every match. Consistent performance with your chosen weapon is key. Focus on objective play, map awareness, and securing kills whenever possible.
