The reception to Apex Legends‘ Season 1 Battle Pass, Wild Frontier, was lukewarm at best, but it seems that developer, Respawn Entertainment, has been listening to player complaints and will be making changes for Season 2.

Respawn community manager, Jay “Jayfresh” Frechette, recently shared some interesting details about the upcoming Season 2 Battle Pass.

The first addition to the Season 2 Battle Pass will be daily and weekly challenges. Apex has been heavily criticized for unnecessary grinding so these challenges should help players gain experience faster.

Legendary items will also be more common moving forward. For every 25 levels in the premium track (1, 25, 50, 75, 100), you will be granted a Legendary item. As a cherry on top, the level 100 item will be an evolving weapon skin with a special recolored version for those who make the extra push to level 110.

Respawn will also be removing badges and stat trackers as rewards in the premium path, which were generally seen as filler by many players. They will be replaced by a new, evolving badge that will not take up any reward slots.

Voice lines, or quips, will also be substituted for crafting materials. With this exchange, there will be more chances for you to finally craft a legendary item of your choosing.
