After spending an entire weekend playing Valorant, ex-CS:GO pro, Mike “Shroud” Grzesiek, has released two videos breaking down all of the agents and weapons in Riot Games’ highly-anticipated first-person shooter.

First, Shroud explained all of the abilities of the 10 agents on Valorant’s current roster. Shroud then shared that one of his favorite characters was Omen.

Aside from the character’s cool aesthetics and their similar-looking logos, Omen’s unique abilities give him insane mobility and incredible utility options that could help the team win crucial rounds.

Shroud then broke down the weapons, armor, and agent abilities, along with the economy in Valorant.

Shroud explained that he didn’t like the option of having two different armor types in the light and heavy shields.

“I don’t like how much inconsistency is created between all armors and not knowing how many bullets it will take to kill somebody,” said Shroud.

Shroud then said his favorite weapon in Valorant was the Phantom, a rifle that is very similar to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive’s M4A1 silenced rifle.

Lastly, Shroud explained that the abilities feature is the most unique in Valorant. And, no, it’s not the abilities itself, but the fact that if players chose to purchase abilities and get eliminated in the round prior to using them, they still get to keep them for next round. “It creates for amazing gameplay for both competitive and casual gameplay.”

After playing the Valorant closed beta, Shroud expressed how much he loved Riot Games’ new competitive shooter; and how he would prefer to play it again, instead of another game. “It’s one of the greatest games I’ve played in a very, very, very long time.”
