With a mid-set update soon on its way, Teamfight Tactics gets another small patch update to fine-tune a handful of champion units and balance out the meta.

Losers: Shredder comps

Players can now say goodbye to the popular Shredder comp due to its massive champion downgrades in this patch. The team comp utilized a large synergy of Blademaster, Celestial, Protector, and Sniper with Xayah as the centerpiece. Xayah gets a mana debuff while secondary units Caitlyn and Jarvan gets significant adjustments to their skills. Xayah’s go-to item, Last Whisper, also gets a decrease in its armor reduction.

  • Caitlyn Ace in the Hole Damage: 750/1500/3000 ⇒ 750/1500/2250
  • Jarvan Ageless Standard Attack Speed Boost: 50/75/100% ⇒ 65/75/85%
  • Xayah Mana: 0/50 ⇒ 0/70
  • Last Whisper: 90% Armor Reduction ⇒ 75% Armor Reduction

Winners: Chrono

Despite Caitlyn’s nerfed damage, Chrono is making its way back into the meta. Players can expect an even faster attack speed boost when they hit Chrono’s third-tier trait.

  • Chrono: 8/4/2 ⇒ 8/3.5/1.5 seconds

Winners: Brawler Blaster comps

Though Graves and Blitzcrank take a minor hit in their skills, Brawler Blaster comps are now more reliant on their higher-tier characters. Lucian now deals more damage with Relentless Pursuit while Cho’Gath now has more starting mana.

  • Graves Smoke Grenade Blind Duration: 3/4/5 ⇒ 2/3/5 seconds
  • Blitzcrank Rocket Grab Damage: 250/400/900 ⇒ 200/350/850
  • Lucian Relentless Pursuit Damage: 150/200/325 ⇒ 150/200/375
  • Cho’Gath Starting/Total Mana: 50/150 ⇒ 75/150

Loser: Kayle

Kayle still acts as an easy pick-up to destroy comps with her AoE attacks. With this, Riot has increased her mana requirements, giving teams a more tolerable time with her on the board.

  • Kayle Total Mana: 60 ⇒ 70

Riot has also added another game mode, Littler Little Legends, to increase the auto battler’s mode options. Opposite to the Medium Legends, LLG provides players with only 85 health, speeding up the elimination process. With the newest patch, you have 12.5% chance of getting this downsized mode.
