Superstar Spanish football club has snagged its second esports team, and it’s for the car-based footballs-ish game of Rocket League.

The move makes a lot of sense for the club, given the game’s similarities to football. Currently FC Barcelona also competes in a Pro Evolution Soccer league, though it’s not as adventurous as rivals Paris Saint-Germain F.C., who besides having a Rocket League team, also have a successful Dota 2 squad.

The new Rocket League team will play in the European Rocket League Championship Series and will feature a squad comprised of David “Deevo” William and Daniel “Bluey” Brian, alongside Adrián “Bymateos” Mateos and promising young player Yanis “Alpha54” Champenois. They were originally part of Savage!, having won Season 6 of the RCLS Rival League Series and placing 3-4th at Dreamhack Pro Circuit: Leipzig 2019.

“Being part of FC Barcelona is the greatest award that any athlete can achieve, so I am deeply honored to lead this team,” said Robert “Roken” Kendall, coach, in a statement.
