Jade is a new 5-star Quantum character in Honkai Star Rail of the Erudition Path. The IPC manager specializes in dealing AOE and follow-up attacks and is currently one of the best characters for the game’s Pure Fiction game mode.

If you’re planning to build the best version of Jade in Honkai Star Rail, you’re in the right place. This ONE Esports guide explains the best Jade build in Honkai Star Rail, including details like the best light cones, relics, planar ornaments, and team compositions.

Best Jade build: light cones

Yet Hope is PricelessIncreases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 16%. While the wearer is in battle, for every 20% CRIT DMG that exceeds 120%, the DMG dealt by follow-up attack increases by 12%. This effect can stack up to 4 times. When the battle starts or after the wearer uses their Basic ATK, enables Ultimate or the DMG dealt by follow-up attack to ignore 20% of the target’s DEF, lasting for 2 turns.Jade’s limited-time light cone warp
Before Dawn Increases the wearer’s CRIT DMG by 36%. Increases the wearer’s Skill and Ultimate DMG by 18%. After the wearer uses their Skill or Ultimate, they gain Somnus Corpus. Upon triggering a follow-up attack, Somnus Corpus will be consumed and the follow-up attack DMG increases by 48%.Jing Yuan’s limited-time light cone warp
Night on the Milky WayFor every enemy on the field, increases the wearer’s ATK by 9.0%, up to 5 stacks. When an enemy is inflicted with Weakness Break, the DMG dealt by the wearer increases by 30% for 1 turn.Starlight Exchange Store
Today is Another Peaceful DayAfter entering battle, increases the wearer’s DMG based on their Max Energy. DMG increases by 0.20% per point of Energy, up to 160 Energy.Nameless Honor

The best light cone for Jade is, unsurprisingly, her signature light cone, Yet Hope is Priceless. Jade can deal a ton of crit damage to enemies, and this light cone could significantly increase her crit rate.

Furthermore, it increases follow-up attack damage and makes enemies more prone to follow-up and ultimate damage.

Jian Yuan’s signature light cone, Before Dawn, is also a great choice, granted you have it, as it can boost Jade’s crit damage, skill damage, follow-up attack damage, and ultimate damage.

Before Dawn may seem better than Jade’s signature light cone, but that isn’t true. You would benefit more from having that extra crit rate and the defense-shred for follow-up and ultimate damage.

Himeko’s signature light cone, Night on the Milky Way, can also work well with Jade. It can boost her attack depending on the number of enemies on the field, which makes it a good choice for Pure Fiction.

Furthermore, Jade can get a damage boost after dealing weakness break on the enemy. We recommend using this especially if you have Ruan Mei on the team, as it can increase Jade’s weakness break damage.

Lastly, you can go for Today is Another Peaceful Day, as it can allow Jade to unleash her ultimate more frequently. Jade can deal a ton of AOE damage from her ultimate, and this light cone could be the perfect catalyst for that.

Best Jade build: relics

Genius of Brilliant Stars2-piece effect: Increases Quantum DMG by 10%.
4-piece effect: When the wearer deals DMG to the target enemy, ignores 10% DEF. If the target enemy has Quantum Weakness, the wearer additionally ignores 10% DEF.
The Ashblazing Grand Duke
2-piece effect: Increases the DMG dealt by follow-up attacks by 20%.
4-piece effect: When the wearer uses follow-up attacks, increases the wearer’s ATK by 6% for every time the follow-up attack deals DMG. This effect can stack up to 8 time(s) and lasts for 3 turn(s). This effect is removed the next time the wearer uses a follow-up attack.

The 4-piece set of Genius Brilliant Stars is the perfect relic set for Jade if there are multiple enemies weak to Quantum damage. You could get a 10% boost to Quantum damage and up to 20% defense shred.

If not, the 4-piece set of the Ashblazing Grand Duke is a solid choice as it can increase attack and follow-up attack damage.

Best Jade build: Planar Ornaments

Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves2-piece effect: When allies use follow-up attacks, the wearer gains 1 stack of Merit, stacking up to 5 times. Each stack of Merit increases the DMG dealt by the wearer’s follow-up attacks by 5%. When there are 5 stacks, additionally increases the wearer’s CRIT DMG by 25%.
Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm2-piece effect: Increases the wearer’s ATK by 12%. When entering battle, if at least one other ally follows the same Path as the wearer, then the wearer’s CRIT Rate increases by 12%.

For planar ornaments, Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves, is the perfect choice for Jade if you have multiple follow-up characters in the team. This could get you a decent boost to follow-up attack and crit damage.

Alternatively, you could go for Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm, especially if you have other Erudition characters in the team, like Argenti or Himeko, to get an attack and crit rate boost.

Best Jade build: team composition

The best Jade teams in Honkai Star Rail are the ones that include at least one other character who can deal AOE and follow-up attack, a buffer to boost attack or crit damage, and a support to increase the survivability of the character inflicted by Jade’s debt collector buff.

Since the IPC manager can synergize with multiple existing characters, we have made a separate guide explaining the best Jade team compositions in Honkai Star Rail.

That sums up our Jade best build in Honkai Star Rail.
