Is Hades 2 coming to Xbox? Fans are hoping for big news in 2024

Hades 2 has recently dropped for early access last May 6. This sequel to the highly acclaimed game, Hades (2020) introduces a new story and features that will thrill players once it fully drops.

As Hades 2’s early access release comes to PC and Mac, players are curious whether the full version of the game will come to consoles. This brings in the pressing question: Is Hades 2 coming to Xbox?

Is Hades 2 coming to Xbox? What are the details?

At present, there haven’t been any official release dates regarding the Xbox version of Hades 2. Similarly, the game’s developer, Supergiant Games hasn’t confirmed an Xbox release announcement of the game.

The only information we have at present is the frequently asked questions blog post on the Supergiant Games website. 

The developer explained, “We expect for Hades II to eventually be available for PC, Mac, and console platforms (though cannot confirm which platforms yet).”

With that in mind, is Hades 2 coming to Xbox in the near future?

Well, it’s possible but again, not guaranteed. As the game is still in its early access stage, there’s some hope that it will eventually be ported to other platforms. 

The game has been in development since 2021, so it’s still fairly new. 

In reference, however, Hades (2020) was officially released back in September 2020, with its Xbox version launched back in August 2021. 

While the interval between the platform releases is quite small, perhaps Supergiant Games may want to take their time with working on Hades 2 to create a great single-player experience for the sequel.
