Clash of Clans players can now play as one of the best football strikers in the world with the new Erling Haaland Clash of Clans skin, King Haaland.
Supercell announced that it teamed up with football star Erling Haaland to appear as a playable character in the hit mobile game.
It’s the first time a character based on a real person has been added to Clash of Clans. The game has been downloaded over two billion times since its release 11 years ago.
Erling Haaland is a Norwegian professional footballer currently playing for Manchester City, renowned for his exceptional goal-scoring ability and lightning speed on the field.

“I’ve been a huge fan of the game for a long time and know everything about it, so to appear as an in-game character is really cool,” Haaland said in a press release.
Clash of Clans is a popular mobile strategy game where players build and defend their villages while attacking other players’ villages to earn resources and trophies.
Players can join clans, participate in clan wars, and unlock various upgrades and troops to strengthen their village and army.

The event starts on May 1, 2024, and kicks off with a football-themed event, filled with exclusive rewards.
The highlight of this event is the Erling Haaland Clash of Clans skin, King Haaland. The skin is for the Barbarian King unit and is available for US$9.99 in the in-game shop.
The skin is only available until May 31, 2024.
Aside from the skin, players are also in for a treat with special troop characters and medal events. Additionally, fans have the chance to challenge and defeat Haaland’s village for exciting rewards.
