What is the Cyte-09 release date in Warframe?
Cyte-09 will be released in the winter of 2024. He will be part of the upcoming Warframe 1999 update, which takes place in a past timeline where six Protoframes race against time to find the enigmatic Dr. Entrati.
DE describes Cyte-09’s Protonframe counterpart as a “reckless and friendless fortune hunter” who is part of Arthur’s team. He possesses exceptional sharpshooter skills and is apparently the best marksman in Warframe 1999.
As of this writing, DE have not revealed Cyte-09’s signature weapon and abilities, though his character synopsis and initial design by Keith Thompson suggest he will be a long-ranged character that favors methodical and precision-based gameplay.
It would be interesting to see how his abilities favor such a different playstyle compared to other frames in the game
