3. Guidance
Coming in as the third most upvoted post by the community is Guidance. There’s no doubt that this spell has a monumental impact on your progression through the game if you have it available.
Guidance allows you to provide an additional 1d4 to any roll skill check you make. This is often the potential difference between a pass and a fail when in dialogue or trying to uncover something hidden.

Topping the thread as the most upvoted spell mentioned is Cloud of Daggers. This powerful area-of-effect spell can dish out tons of damage to multiple foes at once and can be even more dangerous with the right tactic.
A Reddit user by the game of ShadeDragonIncarnate suggested one such tactic to get even more out of your Cloud of Daggers cast.
“Bring a couple of strength characters and have them shove people back into it, it’s hilarious,” he said. To be fair, this is a great idea. Another user, AscendedViking7, suggests throwing Void Bulbs, an item that has a chance to pull enemies towards it, as a way to force enemies into the blender of daggers.
“Have [a] character cast a cloud of daggers in the middle of a group of enemies, then have another character throw down a void bulb directly into the cloud of daggers. Everyone surrounding the cloud of daggers gets sucked into it and gets shredded apart like a blender,” they said. “This has turned around so many fights where I’m completely outnumbered and extremely close to dying, it’s not even funny.”
