Foonie Magus, the developer of the Non-Fungible Token (NFT) game Apeiron, has teamed up with esports organizations Talon Esports and United Esports to host the Apeiron x Talon Nova Tournament.
It offers a US$30,000 total prize pool featuring top players, beloved streamers, and content creators.
The tournament’s goal is to globally highlight the player-versus-player (PVP) aspect of the video game.

The tournament features eight top players from around the world.
It is divided into two legs, with the Western Conference (Americas) from April 4, 2024, to April 6, 2024, and the Eastern Conference (Asia) from April 11, 2024, to April 13, 2024.
The Apeiron x Talon Nova Tournament follows a double-elimination bracket format, with best-of-one and best-of-three matches.
Every player prepares three decks, each featuring a different avatar. Once a deck wins in a game, it becomes ineligible for use for the remainder of that set.
The total prize pool is US$30,000, split equally between the two conferences, with rewards ranging from US$750 to US$5,000 for the top Apeiron competitors.
The tournament is by invitation only, and fans influence the player selection by requesting their favorite Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to join. Participants include:

Matches are streamed live with community watch parties on the Apeiron Discord server.

Apeiron is a play-and-earn game that utilizes NFTs to offer players unique gaming experiences and real-world rewards. It blends classic gameplay with modern elements, incorporating aspects of roguelite and battle arena genres.
In Apeiron, players assume the role of Godlings, powerful beings tasked with assisting Doods — adorable universal inhabitants — in overcoming daily challenges and constructing their societies.
Godlings wield control over elemental forces like rain and fire to aid the Doods in their tasks.
The game rewards players with NFTs in the form of Planets, Stars, and Relics. These NFTs represent unique digital assets that players can own and trade.
Moreover, Apeiron introduces an exciting feature called Celestial Conjunction, where players with multiple planets can participate in breeding events to create entirely new and distinct Planet NFTs.
