The ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League Group Stage provided fans with nonstop, high-level Dota 2 action for four weeks, filled with amazing individual highlights from the stacked Southeast Asian talent in the tournament.

Here are the top 10 plays we’ve seen in the competition so far:

10. Gabbi’s clutch BKB activation

Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte was able to avoid Ng “YamateH” Wei Poong’s blink-in Echo Slam with a perfectly timed Black King Bar activation that earned TNC Predator the Game 2 victory over NEW Esports.

9. kYxY saves drew with his Force Staff

After losing three teammates in a team fight against T1, Andrew “drew” Halim decided to sound the retreat. But, Muhammad “inYourdreaM” Rizky’s Slark was commited to extending T1’s lead, and decided to dive into the Dire base to chase after drew’s Spectre.

Unfortunately for T1, Lee “kYxY” Kong Yang teleported back to base and saved drew by using his Force Staff. Reality Rift then punished T1 for overextending, and killed inYourdreaM’s Slark.

8. BOOM Esports saves Mikoto’s Alchemist, twice

BOOM Esports thought they had complete control of Dire base up until Fnatic decided to spend all their ultimates in an attempt to burst down Rafli Fathur “Mikoto” Rahman’s Alchemist.

With Mikoto on the brink of death, Brizio Adi “Hyde” Putra and Alfi “Khezcute” Nelphyana swooped in to save their teammate by timing their abilities perfectly.

7. Karl saves himself with two perfectly placed Shackleshots

Karl “Karl” Jayme displayed his Windranger expertise by surviving a gank from Team Adroit with two excellently-placed Shackleshots that turned the fight around for Geek Fam.

6. Tims’ Echo Slam demolishes Team Adroit

Gabbi’s Ursa was separated from his team, and was about to be taken down by Team Adroit. But Timothy “Tims” Randrup waited for just the right moment before dropping his Echo Slam right on top of Adroit to help TNC secure the teamwipe.

5. Kpii snatches the Aegis away from BOOM Esports

Damien “kpii” Chok showed why his offlane Void Spirit should not be trifled with. While BOOM was busy taking down Roshan, he found an opening to jump into the Rosh pit and steal the Aegis of the Immortal right under the noses of the Indonesian squad.

4. Yopaj snatches the Aegis away from TNC

Erin Jasper “Yopaj” Ferrer caught TNC completely off guard with his Ember Spirit’s Fire Remnant ultimate to get into the Rosh Pit to snatch the Aegis away from Gabbi’s Gyrocopter.

He then re-positioned after losing the Aegis to join his team. With TNC’s heroes incredibly low on health, Neon Esports picked them apart, and earned two kills.

3. Yopaj baits the Doom ultimate on an illusion

Yopaj on Tiny turned a horrible team fight situation against Fnatic into a teamwipe in favor of Neon Esports by activating his bottled Illusion rune and baiting out Fnatic’s Doom ultimate on the copy of his hero.

Prieme Ejay PlayHard” Maque then used his Sonic Wave ultimate to push all of Fnatic’s heroes, which earned Neon Esports the teamwipe.

2. 23savage survives with clutch backpack micro

Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon’s mastery of Morphling was on full display against Adroit. Just as he was about to go down, he shifted his stats into Strength and swapped out his Wraith Band with a Faerie Fire in the Dire Secret Shop to get just enough HP to survive, and Waveform into safety.

1. iceiceice’s Timbersaw styles on NEW Esports

Daryl Koh “iceiceice” Pei Xiang found NEW Esports’ gank attempt very amusing as he tanked all the damage from the Dire team. After surviving the enemy team’s attacks, he and the rest of Fnatic collapsed on NEW Esports, and won another lopsided team fight.
