Team Nigma has announced that it will be hosting a US$10,000 online challenger tournament, called Rising Stars, for teams from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) from June 7-13.

The tournament will accommodate up to 256 teams, although only the top three squads will get a cut of the US$10,000 prize pool. The winners will earn the grand prize of US$5,000 and the right to test their skills against Nigma themselves.

Meanwhile, the runners-up will get US$3,000 while the third-place team will walk away with US$2,000.

Participation in the tournament is exclusive to teams in the MENA region, however. Interested teams can sign up here.

Nigma partnered with telecommunications company Etisalat and its prepaid mobile service, Swyp, to host the tournament.
