Aliwi “w33” Omar, is set to play the mid-lane for Team Liquid’s Dota 2 roster.

The announcement was made just days before the Epicenter Major was set to take place with Liquid praising his abilities as a mid laner, citing his off-meta heroes such as Jakiro and Skywrath Mage.

W33 has had a great career in Dota 2 so far, having been part of the Team Secret squad back in 2015-2016, and was also part Digital Chaos’ second place finish at TI6.

“I’m happy and thankful to have been given a chance, and I’m ready to prove myself once again,” said Aliwi “w33” Omar.

Team Liquid also added that the new squad will have a lot to prove with the roster change, but they believe it will have what takes to make a solid run at the Epicenter Major and the International 2019 as Liquid look to claim its second Aegis of Champions.
