Two-time The International champion OG dominated both Alliance and Ninjas in Pyjamas during Day 1 of the ESL One Los Angeles 2020 EU closed qualifier.

OG defeats Alliance, 2-0

Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen showcased Void Spirit’s potential in competitive play as a middle lane hero during game one against Alliance. Void Spirit and Snapfire were both added to Captain’s Mode during the 7.24 patch, this is the first time we’re seeing the heroes in official Dota Pro Circuit action.

OG has prioritized picking Void Spirit for Topson because of the hero’s play-making potential and incredible mobility.

With a Eul’s Scepter on the hero, he can easily lock down targets with his Aether Remnant. And, with his Dissimilate and Astral Step abilities, Void Spirit can chase down or disengage against the enemy team.

This was also the first time the new OG lineup with SumaiL “Sumail” Hassan, Yiek Nai “MidOne” Zheng, and Martin “Saksa” Sazdov played against the other top European teams during the 2019-2020 DPC season.

The team looks to be in top form, with MidOne and Saksa making highlight-reel plays and SumaiL establishing himself in his new Position 1 hard-carry role.
