Ninjas in Pyjamas’ new Brazilian player, Rodrigo “Lelis” Santos, dodged everything Aggressive Mode threw at him with his elusive Void Spirit. His outstanding play was a highlight of the teams’ Group Stage elimination match at the WePlay! Tug of War: Mad Moon tournament.

NiP’s Lina was caught by Aggressive Mode in the middle lane, leaving Lelis’ Void Spirit all alone against the entire Dire hero lineup.

Lelis first dodged Dusko “BoraNija” Boranijasevic’s Life Break ultimate with a perfectly timed Dissimilate. He then used his Eul’s Scepter to wait out the cooldown of his Dissimilate, jumping to safety in the meantime.

Lelis was even able to snipe an enemy courier during his retreat.

Lelis’ amazing play was not enough to help his team win the match against Aggressive Mode, however. NiP exits the WePlay! Tug of War: Mad Moon tournament in seventh-eighth place and takes home US$8,000 for their efforts.

Aggressive Mode meanwhile has advanced to the Quarterfinals of the Playoff Round, where they lost 0-2 to Gambit Esports. The team is now waiting in the Lower Bracket Quarterfinals for the loser of the Secret versus Nigma/B8 match.
