Capcom’s action RPG game, Dragon’s Dogma, is getting the anime treatment with a new adaptation coming to Netflix this September.

While not much has been revealed about the series, Dragon’s’ Dogma is already listed in the Netflix library with a brief description. The poster also showcases our main hero, Ethan, and the antagonist dragon in CGI.

“Ethan sets out to vanquish the Dragon that took his heart, but with every demon he battles, the more he loses his humanity,” says the blurb.

If the series follows the original 2012 game, Ethan will enter the franchise as the official Arisen character. In the game, the Arisen was a customizable character that can take on several vocations such as fighter, mage, and ranger. Seeing as how the series is now locked onto Ethan as the main protagonist, we may see a more fleshed-out plot throughout the episodes.

Dragon’s Dogma will be available for streaming on September 17.
