Black Ops 6 is setting its foot into the Call of Duty franchise with various new movement mechanics, one of which is called Intelligent movement.

It’s far different from the Omnimovement which means it isn’t the only movement mechanic innovation coming to Black Ops 6.

Will Black Ops 6 be playable on PS4 and Xbox One?

As always, this new feature promises to revamp the gameplay experience for the Call of Duty fans. So without any further delay, here’s everything you need to know about Black Ops 6 Intelligent movement.

Simply put, Activision has specifically designed Intelligent movement for Black Ops 6 to drastically reduce how many buttons or keys you’re pressing to perform various movements.

Its primary objective is to simplify the mechanics of player movement, making it more intuitive and accessible.

As a result, players would now be able to concentrate on their objectives or what they want to accomplish during the game, rather than being bogged down by the complex mechanics or techniques required to move effectively.

The best part of the Intelligent movement system is it is designed to be inclusive, meaning that players of all skill levels, whether they are beginners or experienced gamers can use it effectively in the game.

It doesn’t matter what kind of input device they are using or how much prior experience they have with the Call of Duty series.

Activision has also announced that Black Ops 6 will feature three categories under the Intelligent movement mechanic, which players can choose to enable or disable manually.

  • Sprint Assist
  • Mantle Assist
  • Crouch Assist

Undoubtedly, you will also have the freedom to fine-tune these settings depending on your style of play, apart from just toggling them. However, it’s worth noting that Intelligent movement may not be for everyone or every in-game circumstance.

Therefore, the ideal outcome would be for players to figure out their personal use cases just like the weapon loadouts, and use this new movement mechanic to their advantage.
