It’s going to be a battle between Vietnam and Thailand for the Arena of Valor International Championship (AIC) 2019 grand prize. The tournament’s semifinal series have locked in Team Flash (Vietnam) and Buriram United Esports (Thailand) for the final stage.

Here’s how the thrilling best-of-seven semifinal matchups went down:

Buriram United Esports 4 – 1 Hong Kong Attitude

These two teams gave AoV fans a great opening match as Hong Kong Attitude demonstrated tough defensive plays against Buriram United Esports’ immense pushing power. After killing their sixth Enraged Abyssal Dragon, Buriram went for the Attitude’s nexus and ended the game at the 34:49 mark.

As the homecrowd favorites, Buriram United Esports continued a great series run for two more games, with jungle player Sanpett “FirstOne” Marat starring as the key player for both the second and third matches.

The fourth match was pretty close between the two teams, but Hong Kong Attitude managed to score a point for this one.

This victory did not last long as Buriram United Esports took their fourth win of the BO7 series, moving in to the AIC finals.

HTVC IGP Gaming 1 – 4 Team Flash

The second series of the semis put AoV World Cup champions Team Flash back in the finals spotlight. They went up against fellow Vietnamese squad HTVC IGP Gaming.

Team Flash took the first point of the series with jungle player Trần “ADC” Đức Chiến as the MVP.

HTVC IGP Gaming immediately came back to tie the series, however, with jungler Trần “Turtle” Ngụy Gia Quy leading the way.

IGP’s strong stand proved to be short-lived, however, as Team Flash dominated the rest of the series, wrapping it up with a 4-1 standing.

HTVC IGP Gaming and Buriram United Esports will heat up the finals stage today, November 24, as they fight for third place. Their match begins at 1:00 p.m. GMT+8.

The spotlight will then go to the main event as Team Flash and Buriram United Esports go head-to-head for the ultimate Arena of Valor International Championship 2019 prize.
