The Valorant developer team recently held a show match against Team Loaded, which as the name suggests, was loaded with talent, consisting of some of the best aimers in the world including Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek, Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham, Jaryd “Summit1g” Lazar, Erik “fl0m” Flom, and Coby “dizzy” Meadows.

Somewhat surprisingly, the dev team absolutely destroyed Loaded’s group of ex-Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players, winning every single game, and showing Valorant fans that pure aim won’t give you the upper hand over map and game knowledge.

In one of the matches on Bind, the dev team exploited team Loaded’s lack of Teleporter knowledge by throwing Raze’s Blast Pack through the Teleporter to get a triple kill.

Another heads up play from the dev team utilized an interesting combo with Sova and Phoenix. At the start of the round, Sova used his Shock Bolt to scout out the enemy team. Meanwhile, their Phoenix used his Run it Back ultimate to go through the Teleporter and get the opening kill.

Nickwu from the dev team showed a really broken Sova play by using his Shock Bolt to scout out opponents while he eliminated them with his Hunter’s Fury ultimate that goes through walls.

Aside from their superior game knowledge, the dev team aren’t too shabby when it comes to aiming themselves.

The dev team finished the first game with a final score of 13-3. In the following game, the dev team took another one-sided 13-5 win. They finished their dominating run with a 13-2 final game score.

What we’ve all learned from this one-sided show match is that, even though aiming is an essential skill to have in any first-person shooter, the game’s agents, their abilities, and the map functionality adds a whole new level of strategy to the game that can’t be understated.

The show match was streamed by Alex “GoldenboyFTW” Mendez and Rivington Bisland III on Twitch and they called the entire thing “a total shellacking.” Fans can watch the entire show match here:
