Overwatch 2’s latest Quickplay event introduces new pickable passives per role. These range from transformative perks to conditional buffs we’ve seen in the past.

But while “Quickplay Hacked” adds more versatility to Overwatch’s casual mode, it’s made counter-picking a lot more complicated.

Follow our guide on Overwatch Quickplay Hacked to learn the game mode’s new passives, and which heroes benefit from them the most.

Best Quickplay Hacked passives for every hero

Quickplay Hacked provides a lot of optionality in Overwatch. Not only do the new effects stack on the old passives, but they also transform the way old heroes are played.

That said, Blizzard’s 5v5 shooter now has a unique cast of 40 heroes (each with their own playstyles). So we matched each one with the best Hacked passive for their current arsenal.

Slayer

The ability to see vulnerable targets through walls is perfect for flanking Damage heroes like Reaper and Tracer. Originally owned by Sombra, the Slayer is useful for removing backline Supports or countering enemy snipers.

  • Reaper
  • Genji
  • Soldier: 76
  • Tracer

Trigger Happy

While reloading is barely an issue in OW2, having extra space in your magazine can be the difference in a firefight. Secure kills and win objectives with these high-caliber picks!

Best Overwatch 2 heroes for Trigger Happy:

  • Bastion
  • Cassidy
  • Junkrat
  • Sojourn

Frenzy

Getting elimination speed boosts is similar to the DPS perk we saw a few years ago in Overwatch 2. Suffice to say, it can turn your comfort pick into a deadly force very quickly once you start racking up kills. Frenzy also gives Damage heroes more survivability in extended teamfights.

Best Overwatch 2 heroes for Frenzy:

  • Genji
  • Reaper
  • Soldier: 76
  • Sombra
  • Tracer

Unyielding

Getting hacked or stunned is about the worst thing to happen to a Tank, and Unyielding fixes that problem by making it suck less. Here are the heroes that can benefit the most from the 40% debuff reduction:

Best Overwatch 2 heroes for Unyielding:

  • D.Va
  • Doomfist
  • Mauga
  • Ramattra
  • Wrecking Ball

Armored

Getting 10% shaved off of every instance of damage is essential when fighting in the frontline. Combining this with Shield health heroes also makes you more of a damage sponge than any hero in your class.

Best Overwatch 2 heroes for Armored:

  • Junker Queen
  • Mauga
  • Ramattra
  • Winston
  • Zarya

Last Stand

Last Stand turns your tank into an absolute bruiser that doles out the hurt before falling to the enemy. If having lower cooldowns on Doomfist is your thing, look no further.

  • Doomfist
  • Junker Queen
  • Orisa
  • Ramattra
  • Winston

Resourceful

Annoyed by your ability’s long cooldowns? Resourceful has got you covered. 20% cooldown reduction may not sound like a lot, but having Suzu up faster is a considerable trade-off if your team keeps getting wiped.

Best Overwatch 2 heroes for Resourceful:

  • Ana
  • Illari
  • Kiriko

Swift Save

Getting 50% more healing on low-health allies can be game-changing if paired with the right heroes. This passive is similar to one of Mercy’s reworked passives in the past, and it’s just as useful now (if not more).

Best Overwatch 2 heroes for Swift Save:

  • Ana
  • Baptiste
  • Kiriko
  • Lifeweaver
  • Lucio
  • Mercy
  • Moira
  • Zenyatta

Close Call

Lastly, Close Call provides some of the survivability Frenzy offers by giving you more movement speed at low HP. This is highly useful in a pinch, especially when you get flanked by a Genji or a Winston. And the extra speed can mean life or death to non-mobile healers.

Best Overwatch 2 heroes for Close Call:

  • Ana
  • Zenyatta
