In game one of Oh My God’s series against LGD Gaming in Week 6, Han “Smlz” Jin played an unconventional Kindred in bot lane.

During mid to late game, both teams were still even in gold. When Smlz overstepped, LGD saw an opportunity to engage and catch him out. Guo “Lies” Hao-Tian on Ornn landed Call of the Forge God, which signalled the rest of his team to pile on the damage.

Fortunately for Smlz, he activated Lamb’s Respite to stop the initial burst. As it ran out, his support Liu “cold” Shi-Yu blessed him with Taric’s Cosmic Radiance, turning him invulnerable.

LGD’s Bard helped out too, landing Tempered Fate on Smlz which gave him extended invulnerability. Once it ended, LGD went in for the kill – only to be foiled once again by Xie “icon” Tian-Yu’s clutch Chronoshift on Zilean.

Reviving at full HP, Smlz walked out scot-free.

Despite OMG’s efforts, LGD went on to win the series 2-0.
