Sea of Thieves is finally coming to Steam on June 3, 2020. Microsoft announced the news through an Xbox Wire blog post, stating that they look forward to onboarding a whole new community of PC players.

With the impending release, Microsoft aims to add to Sea of Thieves’s massive 10-million-player base, which was amassed when the game was released exclusively for the Xbox One and Windows Store in March 2018.

“We can’t wait to welcome these eager new pirates into the fold, and watch them discover Sea of Thieves’ wide open world for themselves,” said Joe Neate, Executive Producer for game developer Rare.

The Sea of Thieves Steam launch will contain all of the game’s previously released content, including The Hungering Deep, Tell Tales, The Arena, and, the most recent monthly update, Ships of Fortune.

Steam users can purchase Sea of Thieves for US$39.99 upon its release. This includes cross-play support, so players who already have the game on Xbox One or Windows Store can sail together.
