TNC Predator pulled off an incredible 2-1 comeback against T1 on Day 12 of the BTS Pro Series: Southeast Asia tournament thanks to Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte’s heroics on a Divine Rapier-wielding Morphling.

With the series score tied 1-1, TNC opened the deciding game poorly after losing the laning phase and having their core heroes fall behind in terms of both experience and gold. Damien “kpii” Chok’s offlane Legion Commander was even out farmed by Timothy “Tims” Randrup’s support Snapfire.

After amassing an 11,000 gold lead, T1 decided to siege the Radiant base but were repelled by Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte’s Morphling, who earned himself a Triple Kill and a Beyond Godlike streak in a huge base defense.

With T1’s support heroes still down, TNC decided to press their advantage and charge into the enemy base. After losing their Death Prophet at the start of the fight, T1 decided to use buybacks but were still immediately taken down by Gabbi and the rest of TNC.

Luckily for T1, Muhammad “inYourdreaM” Rizky’s Ember Spirit was able to burst down Gabbi with his Fire Remnants to repel TNC.

Both teams clashed by the Radiant Secret Shop a few minutes later, where T1 took down Gabbi and Tims then forced them to use buybacks. Instead of regrouping with his team, however, Galvin “Meracle” Kang Jai Wen was caught inside the Radiant base and forced T1 to take a bad fight. That allowed Gabbi’s Morphling to clean up T1’s heroes with a clutch Satanic activation that helped him return to almost full health.

After their second successful base defense, Gabbi decided to pick up a Divine Rapier at the 55-minute mark and lead another charge into T1’s base. With his overwhelming damage output, Gabbi was able to raze almost the entirety of the enemy’s base before being taken down just as he landed the last hit on T1’s Ancient to win the game.

With the victory, TNC secured their playoff spot and moved up to second place in the group stage standings with a record of 4-2. Meanwhile, T1 fall to a 2-5 record which knocks them down to the seventh place.
