Where to find Harvester Orbs MW3 locations for Zombies to progress the story

Finding the Harvester Orbs is a part of being able to move forward in the story, so anyone trying to see what comes next will need to take down some of these ominous orbs.

Fear not though, despite looking super cool and somewhat spooky, they’re essentially just loot pinatas to bash until they give you what you want.

Players will need to be in the Exclusion Zone, otherwise you’ll have no chance of spotting and eliminating a Harvester Orb. While it’s mostly anecdotal, it seems that the orbs are more likely to spawn in more open areas rather than inside tight spaces.

This makes sense as they like to move around a bit, and floating doesn’t work well with lots of walls and ceilings.

Because of this, we recommend working on more open and flat locations such any open field or space across the map. The outter perimeter of the map is a great place for this, and other players have reported spotting the orbs there.

Once you find one though, make sure you’re prepared for a chase.

Upon firing on the Harvester Orb, it’ll immediately take off and try to get away from you. If you keep after it though, you’ll need to keep hitting your shots to ultimately take it down and reap your rewards.
