This spin-off series takes the iconic grandpa and grandson duo, Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith, on a riveting journey into the vibrant world of Japanese culture.
Created and developed by Takashi Sano, this anime science fiction sitcom is a collaboration between Studio Deen, Sola Entertainment, and Telecom Animation Film for Adult Swim.
The series follows the success of five pilot short films released between March 29, 2020, and October 10, 2021.

The English version of the Rick and Morty anime premieres on August 15, 2024, at 12 a.m. PT on Adult Swim. The Japanese subtitled version airs on August 17, 2024, at 12 a.m. PT on Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block.
