Wild Rift esports has finally arrived in North America! Organized by Nerd Street Gamers and Wisdom Gaming, the Wild Rift Summoner Series 2021 will be the first official Wild Rift tournament for the region.
What is the Wild Rift Summoner Series 2021?
The 2021 Wild Rift Summoner Series is Nerd Street’s first venture into mobile gaming. Stephen Csikos, Vice President of Esports Operations at Nerd Street, says that this is an important step for the mobile space in North America.
“We believe that expanding into mobile esports will help further increase awareness and drive participation among a wide, more diverse consumer base,” said Csikos.
Wisdom Gaming previously produced the Battle for the Rift event last May, where Natus Vincere won the championship.
Wisdom CEO Mike Zweigbaum says that the team is hungry for more Wild Rift content.
“As big Riot fans, we are honored to be a part of building the Wild Rift esports community,” said Zweigbaum. “We’re excited to collaborate with Nerd Street on such a big project. We both love Wild Rift and hope to foster this growing scene.”
With both organizations already handling other esports titles, Riot Games says their long-standing partnership with both groups will set up the 2021 Wild Rift Summoner Series for success.
“We are confident that the expertise that Nerd Street and Wisdom Gaming bring to the table will create a seamless, integrity-driven competitive experience for our players in the 2021 Wild Rift Summoner Series,” said Chris Greeley, Head of Esports for NA and OCE at Riot Games.

The schedule for the Wild Rift Summoner Series 2021 is as follows:
First Circuit
- July 26-27 – Open Qualifier 1 – Top 4 teams qualify to Major 1
- August 2-3 – Open Qualifier 2 – Top 4 teams qualify to Major 1
- August 7-8 – Major 1 – Top 4 teams qualify to Major 2
Second Circuit
- August 16-17 – Open Qualifier 1 – Top 2 teams qualify to Major 2
- August 23-24 – Open Qualifier 2 – Top 2 teams qualify to Major 2
- August 28-29 – Major 2 – Top 2 teams qualify into Championship Finals – Teams 3-6 qualify to Major 3
Third Circuit
- September 6-7 – Qualifier 1 – Top 2 teams qualify to Major 3
- September 13-14 – Qualifier 2 – Top 2 teams qualify to Major 3
- September 18-19 – Major 3 – Top 4 teams Qualify into Champs
Last Chance Qualifier
- Oct 1-3 LCQ – Top 2 teams Qualify into Champs
All qualifier matches will start at 5:00 a.m. GMT+8. Broadcast times for the Majors will be announced soon.
The NA Regional Championship is set to take place on October 8.

Wild Rift Summoner Series 2021 format
The 2021 Wild Rift: Summoner Series will have three circuits, each with qualifiers and Majors. 32 teams from the open qualifiers will have a chance to advance to the Major tournaments.

Wild Rift Summoner Series 2021 prize pool
The total prize pool of the Wild Rift Summoner Series 2021 is US$50,000. The three Circuits culminate in the Majors, which have a prize pool of US$5,000 each.
The Championship Finals will have a prize pool of US$35,000.

The Wild Rift Summoner Series 2021 will be broadcasted live on Nerd Street’s Twitch channel.
