Group A looked like it would come down to a three-way battle between LEC’s G2 Esports, LCK’s Griffin, and LCS’ Cloud9. LMS’ Hong Kong Attitude, rounded up the tough group.

In the end, after splitting their series 1-1, G2 and Griffin played a tiebreaker with Griffin walking away with first place.
