FaZe Clan have revealed their Valorant roster just in time for the Valorant Challengers League in North America, signing former TSM player Daniel “Rossy” Abedrabbo.
The organization also returned Phat “supamen” Le and Quan “dicey” Tran to active status, after benching them in the aftermath of the NA Last Chance Qualifier for Champions last year.
FaZe placed third at the LCQ and did not qualify for Champions. They also did not secure a spot in the VCT Americas league, leaving them to compete in the VCL for a spot in Ascension and a chance for promotion.
FaZe Clan brings back some familiar faces
Rossy spent the majority of 2022 with TSM, but was formally released in December. The 19-year-old was a versatile player for his team, filling in the initiator and controller roles.
He went on to join free agent squad The Nation, playing alongside the likes of Matthew “Wardell” Yu and CS:GO veterans Jake “Stewie2K” Yip and Braxton “Brax” Pierce.
The Nation came close to qualifying for the Challengers league, but ultimately fell short in the lower bracket of the open qualifier and LCQ.
Nevertheless, Rossy was the highest-rated player in the LCQ from the round of 32 onward, according to vlr.gg. His rating of 1.29 put him miles ahead of teammate Wardell, and even players like Jay “sinatraa” Won and Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen, who were competing with Untamable Beasts.
When The Nation was eliminated from the LCQ, Rossy was the first player to be picked up. He announced that he was no longer a free agent, mere hours after saying that he was looking for a team.
