Esports organization, Team Liquid, is diving into the world of competitive mobile gaming by hosting Team Liquid Proving Grounds, a Call of Duty: Mobile tournament.

The announcement was made through a tweet by Team Liquid’s community manager.

The teams are split into two groups, with Group A already completing their matches last week.

Over the next two weeks, eight top-tier CoD: Mobile teams will compete against each other for a US$1,000 prize pool.

Team Totality and Tribe Gaming made it through to the semifinals, knocking out D2R and Surge.

Group B will play their games this week, with two of Omen Elite, Spacestation Gaming, OMNISCIENCE, and Merciless continuing on to the semifinals.

The semi-finals and finals will take place on November 15. You can catch all the action on Team Liquid’s official twitch channel.
