The Tokyo Tekken Masters is the latest esports tournament to be postponed due to concerns over the COVID-19 coronavirus.

The tournament was scheduled to be the first stop on the Tekken World Tour and would have been played April 4-5.

The event will now be played at a later date.

“Our goal and focus is to provide safe and healthy conditions for all of our tournaments to take place,” said Bandai Namco in an official blog post.

The Tekken World Tour 2020 will now commence with the NorCal Regionals on April 10-12 in California.
