Ang pinakaunang Collegiate Mobile Legends Series sa Southeast Asia ay pinangunahan ng college esports tournament organizer na Cyberathlete, at ito ay nagmamalaki ng tumataginting na US$250,000 na grand final cash prize.

Bilang isa sa pinakamalaking grand final cash prize sa collegiate esports market, sinabi ng Cyberathlete na it ay isang “investment” dahil lumalaki na ang global esports industry ng US$1 billion dollars kada taon.

Kelan magaganap ang SEA Collegiate Mobile Legends Series? 

Mag-uumpisa ang open qualifiers sa Southeast Asia ngayong buwan ng Mayo 2021, at ito ay magpapatuloy hanggang August 2021.

Ang mga top teams sa bawat bansa ay maglalaban-laban sa Collegiate Mobile Legends sa loob ng tatlong regular seasons, at ang lahat ng players ay makakatanggap ng sahod.

Matapos ang tatlong seasons, ang top four collegiate teams mula sa SEA ay maglalaban-laban sa World Collegiate Finals sa December 2022 para sa isang grand final cash prize na US$250,000.

  • Malaysia — E-Stars Nation 
  • Philippines — National Esports Federation of Philippines (NESFP) 
  • Indonesia — Ligagame Esports 

Ang Cyberathlete, isang Singapore-based na company, ay dating nagpatakbo ng collegiate tournaments sa Valorant, ang FPS title ng Riot Games noong 2020.
